By placing an order with us, or navigating the Website, you are agreeing to accept these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with the Terms and Conditions, you should not use or access this website.

You must be eighteen years of age or above to use this site. If you are under eighteen, you may only use this site with the agreement of, and under the supervision of, a parent or guardian. If you do not qualify, please do not use this site.

You warrant that all details you provide to thevintagewall.com for the purpose of purchasing goods are true, accurate, current and complete in all respects; and that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds in your account to cover payment of the product(s) ordered.

You agree that e-mail can be used as a long-distance means of communication.

When placing an order, you agree that any and all information given is accurate and complete.

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.

All information listed on the Website is correct at the time of publication, however, we reserve the right to change or amend the descriptions and/or prices of any product at any time. All prices include sales tax.

When placing your order, you will receive an automated email confirming the product(s) ordered, payment method, order total and delivery charges in Pounds Sterling (GBP). You must check that all the details in this email are correct and contact us as soon as possible in the event of any errors.

No contract for the sale of any product will exist between you and thevintagewall.com until we accept your order by dispatching the product to you. When your order has been dispatched, we will notify you by email. This confirmation will be sent to the email address provided in your order form.

The Product

The products advertised and sold on thevintagewall.com are unique items that date from the early 19th century to the late 20th century (described otherwise as "antique" and "vintage"). These products therefore may show signs of wear and tear – associated with age, usage and treatment – that have altered or affected their original appearance, function or compliance with present-day health and safety laws. Products advertised on the Website are therefore to be sold as "works of art".

By buying from the Website, you agree to accept the products as they are illustrated and described. You also accept that the products are not new or perfect. We will make every effort to accurately describe and portray the appearance and condition of each product, but cannot be held liable for deterioration or damage caused as a result of usage by you or by the recipient after the product has been delivered.

The delivery period stated within which you will receive your order is approximate. Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order. You must ensure that name and address details are complete and correct when placing your order. We cannot be held responsible for orders not arriving due to incorrect or incomplete address details being given.

On delivery of your order, if you find your goods to be damaged or incomplete, you must contact us immediately on receipt to report the problem. We cannot be held responsible for issues that arise thereafter.

If your delivery address is outside of the UK, you may have to pay import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note, customs policies vary widely from country to country. We recommend you contact your local customs office for information.

Please note that international shipments may be subject to cross-border inspections by customs authorities.


The Website accepts most major credit/debit cards, as well as PayPal.

All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Returns Procedure

If you haven't submitted an order, you may clear the items in your shopping cart at any time by clicking 'Remove' for any products you do not wish to purchase.

If you have placed an order but then wish to change or cancel it, please contact us as soon as possible. In such cases, you may have to wait until you receive the order and then follow the normal Returns procedures. You will find more information about this on our Returns page. We operate a No Quibbles Returns policy.

If you have found your order to be a gross misrepresentation of the way in which the product has been portrayed on the Website and wish to return all or part of your order, you must contact us immediately upon receipt and return the goods to us in their original packaging no later than 7 days after the date of delivery.

Once the goods have been returned to us, any amount debited from your credit/debit card or PayPal account will be re-credited to that credit/debit card or PayPal account within 14 days of the goods being returned, provided that the goods you return are in the same condition that they were when delivered to you. You will be liable for any postage charges incurred when returning the goods, unless the return is the result of an error on our part. For orders in which an optional express delivery charge has been paid, only the value of the goods will be refunded.

If you are in the European Union and you cancel your order and send it back to us within 7 days of receipt, we will refund the shipping costs you paid as part of that order (if any) in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations. You will be responsible for paying any postage charges incurred when sending the goods back to us.

Your Privacy

We do not store customer credit card details.
We will never disclose your personal information to any third party.

When you place an order with us, only your name, phone number, email address and delivery address will be collected by us. This information will be used solely for the purpose of communicating with you and for shipping your order.

Your personal details (such as name, email address and phone number) will be collected only at the time that you place an order or subscribe to our mailing list. This information will not be disclosed to any third party, with the exception of our delivery agent, who will be supplied only with your name, delivery address and contact number.

We will never request your personal information by telephone or email. In the interest of spam and fraud prevention, we will never supply your email address to any third party, including our delivery agent.

When making a payment, your debit/credit card details will remain only within the secure payment screen and will be visible only to you and to the relevant clearing agency.

When placing an order, you will automatically be subscribed to our mailing list, which constitutes regular emails informing you of new stock arrivals and offers. If, at any time, you would like to opt out of receiving these emails, you can tap the Unsubscribe link found in each email. You may also update your details by tapping Update Preferences in the same email. Should you prefer that your details be deleted from our database altogether (including records of any past purchases or communications with us), you can contact us by phone or email to make this request.

If you are a first-time visitor contacting us through our online Contact form, you will not automatically be subscribed to our mailing list, nor will your personal details be saved to our database.

The Website may contain links to other websites that are not controlled by us. Once you have navigated to these external links, we can no longer be responsible for the protection and privacy of your personal data. We advise that you refer to the privacy statement of the websites in question.

The Website does not use Cookies to track or store your browsing data.


We do not accept liability (except as set out below) for any errors and/or omissions contained in the Website and reserve the right to change the descriptions, specifications or prices of listed goods at any time and without notice.

If an error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible by email or telephone. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product that was advertised at an incorrect price. In the event that you order an item published with an incorrect price, we will contact you to confirm that your order has been cancelled and that a full refund will be issued. Should you choose to re-order at the correct price, a separate transaction will be posted to your debit/credit card or PayPal account.

In the event that a technical complication should occur, allowing you to purchase a unique item at the same time as another customer, we reserve the right to sell the item to whichever party was first to complete payment. In such an instance, we will contact you as soon as possible to confirm that your order has been cancelled and that a full refund will be made.

In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered, or which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form, we shall make good any shortage or non-delivery, or refund to you the amount that you paid for the goods in question provided that you notify us of the problem within 48 hours of receipt of your order and, if appropriate, return the goods to us, unless we inform you that return is not necessary. This provision does not affect your statutory rights.

We have taken every measure to provide accurate representations of each product advertised on the Website. However, due to a number of different factors, such as monitor and device colour/contrast settings, we cannot be held responsible or liable for any differences in colour between the online image and the actual product.

The products sold on the Website are intended for private domestic and business use only. Accordingly, we do not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss of income, profit, goodwill, reputation or data, or damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising out of the use of the Website or for any products purchased from the Website.

We have taken every measure to prevent Internet fraud and to ensure that any data collected from you is stored as securely and safely as possible. However, we cannot be held liable in the extremely unlikely event of a breach in our security measures.

We shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to seasonal delays, extreme weather conditions, strikes, civil commotion, malicious damage, governmental actions and similar events.

We make no warranty that the Website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the server that makes it available is free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy and reliability of the Website. We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the Website.

In accessing the Website, you agree that you may only download the content for your own individual and non-commercial use. You are not permitted to copy, broadcast, download, store (in any medium), transmit, show or play in public, adapt or change in any way the content of the Website for any other purpose whatsoever without the prior written permission of Vintage74 Limited. You are permitted to 'share' page content and images on social media and blog websites, provided that a full credit and links to thevintagewall.com are included in the relevant posts. We reserve the right to use images of sold goods for marketing purposes.

Third Party Information

We cannot be held responsible for material displayed on third party websites or any other written material. The only prices that apply for products advertised on thevintagewall.com are those stated on the Website. We cannot vouch for the reliability of prices stated on shopping directories or through any other third party.

Entire Agreement

These Conditions govern our relationship with you. Any changes to these Conditions must be in writing and signed by both parties. In this way, we can avoid any problems surrounding what the Website and you are expected to do. You confirm that, in agreeing to accept the Conditions, you have not relied on any representation except where that representation has been made a term of these Conditions and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any representation. Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms and Conditions. Nothing in this Clause shall limit or exclude our liability in respect of any fraudulent or negligent misrepresentation whether or not such has become a term of the Conditions.


The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
