Hand-painted wooden sign: Churchill Room

Originating from a private club in London's West End, the rare sign is hand-painted with black-lined gold gilt lettering on solid oak or ash. Displaying beautifully over a doorway or architrave – just as it would have in its original interior – the sign boasts an attractive antique patina, with superficial wear and some old screw holes adding character. 76 x 15 x 2cm. The back with a pair of later wall hooks
