Early-1900s French wooden birdcage

An outstanding decorative piece that can be displayed flat, suspended from above, or even wall-mounted, the cage is fashioned entirely from wood (even the rungs) painted grey. One side has a sliding door (3rd image), while the top has a square opening – probably where a lift-off cover once sat. 39cm high x 40 x 26.5cm. Age wear and cosmetic imperfections.
