19th-century decorative wooden wall clock

A rare, mid-1800s find by French maker Furderer Jaegler & Co (stamped to the back), the clock is made from a single, shaped slab of wood intricately hand-painted with a pattern of roses and geometric motifs; the patinated brass hands framed by a ring of pink and blue foliage. 35 x 25 x 3cm. In working order, the clock has been refurbished with a modern German-made UTS movement requiring 1 x AA battery
